Frequently asked questions
What is the difference with the SaaS version?
In SaaS, your files transit through our servers (France, GDPR). In self-hosting, they stay on your infrastructure — that is the only functional change. The code and features are identical.
Under what license?
Source-available commercial annual license. You have the complete source code, you can modify it for your internal needs, you cannot redistribute it as a competing product. Automatic open-source conversion after 4 years (BSL model).
How long to deploy?
With a prepared Linux infrastructure: ~1 day. Our pre-installation audit validates the requirements before go-live.
Is there any telemetry?
None. The binary contacts NO external server. You decide whether to enable automatic updates (which query our release server) or stay completely offline.
What happens at the end of the license?
You keep the installed version functionally in perpetuity. No more updates or support, but the instance keeps running. You can renew anytime.
Can I migrate from the SaaS version?
Yes. Full per-tenant export tool (files + metadata + history). Our team accompanies you during the switch.
